Cesny-les-Sources is a French commune with 1,334 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the canton of Thury-Harcourt and the Arrondissement of Caen .

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 through the amalgamation of the previous municipalities Cesny-Bois-Halbout , Acqueville , Angoville , Placy and Tournebu , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Cesny-Bois-Halbout.
