Laize-Clinchamps is a French commune with 1,857 inhabitants (as of January 1 2014) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Évrecy .

The municipality was created as Commune nouvelle as part of a regional reform on January 1, 2017 through the merger of the two former municipalities Clinchamps-sur-Orne and Laize-la-Ville , which are now districts of Laize-Clinchamps. Laize-la-Ville acts as the "superordinate district" as the administrative seat.
