Bougy is a French municipality with 402 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Évrecy .

Since 2012, Bougy has belonged to the municipality of Val d'Odon (an amalgamation of the villages of Baron-sur-Odon , Evrecy , Éterville and Gavrus ), which has had a partnership with Gaukönigshofen , a municipality in the Lower Franconian district of Würzburg , since 1997 .
