Bellengreville is a French commune with 1,493 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Troarn (until 2015: canton of Bourguébus ).

geography

Bellengreville is about eleven kilometers southeast of Caen . Bellengreville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Frénouville in the north and northwest, Vimont in the east, Chicheboville in the south, Le Castelet with Garcelles-Secqueville in the southwest and Bourguébus in the west.

The former route nationale 13 (today's D613) runs through the municipality .
