Saint Martin Church

Chicheboville is a former French commune with the last 507 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . The municipality belonged to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Troarn (until 2015: canton of Bourguébus ). The inhabitants are called Chichebovillais .

On January 1, 2017, Chicheboville was merged with the neighboring Moult to form the new municipality of Moult-Chicheboville .

geography

Chicheboville is about twelve kilometers southeast of Caen .

The community of Chicheboville was surrounded by Bellengreville in the north and west, Moult in the east, Billy in the south and south-east, Conteville in the south and south-west and Garcelles-Secqueville in the south-west.
