Church of Sainte-Anne

Moult is a former French commune with last 2,179 inhabitants (as of January 1 2014) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . The municipality belonged to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Troarn (until 2015: canton of Bourguébus ). The inhabitants are known as Moultais .

On January 1, 2017, Moult merged with neighboring Chicheboville to form the new municipality of Moult-Chicheboville .

geography

Moult is about fifteen kilometers east-southeast of Caen .

The municipality of Moult was surrounded by Argences in the north, Canteloup in the northeast, Airan in the south and east, Billy in the south and southwest, Chicheboville in the west and southwest, Bellengreville in the west and Vimont in the northwest.
