The canton of Troarn is a French canton in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It comprises 23 parishes from the arrondissements of Caen and Lisieux , and its bureau centralisateur is in Troarn . As part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was expanded in spring 2015.

As part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the 17 municipalities of Argences , Banneville-la-Campagne , Cagny , Canteloup , Cléville , Cuverville , Démouville , Émiéville , Giberville , Janville , Saint-Ouen-du-Mesnil-Oger belonged to the canton Troarn , Saint-Pair , Saint-Pierre-du-Jonquet , Sannerville , Touffréville , Troarn and Vimont . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​103.16 km ² . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 1434.
