Fierville-Bray is a former French commune with the last 524 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belonged to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Troarn . The residents are known as Fiervillais .

The municipality of Fierville-Bray merged with Billy , Conteville , Airan and Poussy-la-Campagne on January 1st, 2017 to form the new municipality of Valambray .

geography

Fierville-Bray is about 20 kilometers southeast of Caen and just as far north-northeast of Falaise .

The municipality was surrounded by Billy in the north, Cesny-aux-Vignes in the northeast, Vieux-Fumé in the east, Condé-sur-Ifs in the southeast, Le Bû-sur-Rouvres in the south, Saint-Sylvain in the southwest and west and Poussy- la-Campagne in a north-westerly direction.
