Valambray is a commune in the French department of Calvados in Normandy . It belongs to the canton of Troarn and the arrondissement of Caen . It was created as Commune nouvelle by a decree of September 8, 2016 with effect from January 1, 2017, by merging the previous communities of Airan , Billy , Conteville , Fierville-Bray and Poussy-la-Campagne . Since then, these have been Communes déléguées . The main town (chief lieu) is Airan.
