Saint-Aignan-de-Cramesnil is a village and a former French commune of 601 (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region Normandy (before 2016 Basse-Normandie ). It belonged to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Évrecy ( Bourguébus until 2015 ).
With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Saint-Aignan-de-Cramesnil and Garcelles-Secqueville were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Le Castelet and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Saint-Aignan-de-Cramesnil.
