Rocquancourt ( ) is a village and a former French commune of 959 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belonged to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Évrecy . The inhabitants are known as Rocquancourtois .
With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Rocquancourt , Hubert-Folie and Tilly-la-Campagne were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Castine-en-Plaine and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Rocquancourt.
geography
Rocquancourt is about 12 kilometers south of Caen . The village is surrounded by
- Tilly-la-Campagne in the north and north-east,
 - Le Castelet with Garcelles-Secqueville in the east and Saint-Aignan-de-Cramesnil in the southeast,
 - Fontenay-le-Marmion in the south, south-west, west and north-west.
