Castine-en-Plaine is a French commune with 1,552 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the canton of Évrecy and the arrondissement of Caen .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 by amalgamating the previous municipalities of Rocquancourt , Hubert-Folie and Tilly-la-Campagne , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Rocquancourt.
