Boulon is a French municipality with 681 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Thury-Harcourt (until 2015: canton of Bretteville-sur-Laize ). The inhabitants are called Boulonnais .

geography

Boulon is about 15 kilometers south of Caen . Boulon is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Laize-la-Ville in the north, Fresney-le-Puceux in the northeast, Bretteville-sur-Laize in the east, Barbery in the southeast, Saint-Laurent-de-Condel in the south and southwest, Mutrécy in the west and Northwest and Clinchamps-sur-Orne in the northwest.
