Colomby-Anguerny is a French commune with 1,108 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Courseulles-sur-Mer .

It came into being as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2016 through the amalgamation of the former municipalities of Anguerny and Colomby-sur-Thaon , of which only Colomby-sur-Thaon was granted the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Anguernys.

Colomby-Anguerny is surrounded by Basly in the north, Plumetot in the northeast, Mathieu in the southeast, Villons-les-Buissons in the south, Cairon in the southwest, Thaon in the west and Fontaine-Henry in the northwest.
