Janville is about 16 kilometers east of Caen . The municipality is surrounded by Saint-Samson in the north, Saint-Pierre-du-Jonquet in the northeast, east and southeast, Argences in the south, Vimont in the southwest, Saint-Pair in the west and Saline with Troarn in the northwest.
