Les Isles-Bardel is located approximately 12 km southwest of Falaise and 23 km northeast of Flers . The municipality is surrounded by Rapilly in the north, Ménil-Vin in the northeast, east and southeast, Ménil-Hermei in the south, Saint-Philbert-sur-Orne in the southwest and west and Le Mesnil-Villement in the northwest.
