Grentheville is a French municipality with 901 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Évrecy (until 2015: canton of Bourguébus ).

Grentheville is about six kilometers southeast of Caen . Grentheville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mondeville in the north and north-west, Cagny in the east and north-east, Frénouville in the south-west, Soliers in the south, Ifs in the south-west and Cormelles-le-Royal in the west and north-west.
