geography
Grainville-Langannerie is about 15 kilometers north-north-west of Falaise and 22 kilometers south-south-east of Caen . The municipality is surrounded by Bretteville-le-Rabet in the north, Soignolles in the northeast, Estrées-la-Campagne in the east, Soumont-Saint-Quentin in the southeast, Fontaine-le-Pin in the south, and Saint-Germain-le-Vasson in the southwest , Barbery to the west and Urville to the northwest.
