Vacognes-Neuilly is about 16 kilometers southwest of Caen . Vacognes-Neuilly is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Locheur in the north and north-west, Bougy in the north and north-east, Évrecy in the east and north-east, Sainte-Honorine-du-Fay in the south and south-east, Maisoncelles-sur-Ajon in the south, and Banneville-sur -Ajon in the south-west, Landes-sur-Ajon in the west and Val d'Arry with Tournay-sur-Odon in the west and north-west.
