Cauvicourt is located about 21 km south-southeast of Caen . The municipality is surrounded by Cintheaux in the north and northwest, Valambray with Poussy-la-Campagne in the northeast, Saint-Sylvain in the east, Soignolles in the southeast, Bretteville-le-Rabet in the south, Gouvix in the southwest and Bretteville-sur-Laize in the west Direction.
