geography

Bretteville-le-Rabet is located about 24 km south-southeast of Caen and 17 km north-northwest of Falaise . The municipality is surrounded by Cauvicourt in the north, Saint-Sylvain in the northeast, Soignolles in the east, Estrées-la-Campagne in the southeast, Grainville-Langannerie in the south, Urville in the southwest and Gouvix in the west and northwest.
