Bretteville-le-Rabet is a French municipality with 305 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Thury-Harcourt . The inhabitants are known as Rabellois .
geography
Bretteville-le-Rabet is located about 24 km south-southeast of Caen and 17 km north-northwest of Falaise . The municipality is surrounded by Cauvicourt in the north, Saint-Sylvain in the northeast, Soignolles in the east, Estrées-la-Campagne in the southeast, Grainville-Langannerie in the south, Urville in the southwest and Gouvix in the west and northwest.
