Jort ( ) is a French municipality with 299 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Falaise . The inhabitants are known as Jortais .
geography
Jort is about 13 km northeast of Falaise and 35 km southeast of Caen . The municipality is surrounded by Vendeuvre in the north, Courcy in the east, Louvagny in the south-east, Vicques in the south, Bernières-d'Ailly in the south-west, Perrières in the west and Sassy in the north-west.
