Mondrainville is a French municipality with 521 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Évrecy . The inhabitants are known as Mondrainvillais .

geography

Mondrainville is about eleven kilometers west-southwest of Caen on the Odon River , which borders the community in the south. Mondrainville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Thue et Mue with Cheux in the north, Mouen in the east and northeast, Tourville-sur-Odon in the east, Baron-sur-Odon in the southeast, Gavrus in the south and Grainville-sur-Odon .

The A84 car route runs through the municipality .
