Gavrus is a French municipality with 555 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Évrecy .
geography
Gavrus is about 13 kilometers southwest of Caen . The community is surrounded by:
- Mondrainville in the north,
- Baron-sur-Odon in the northeast,
- Esquay-Notre-Dame in the east,
- Avenay in the southeast,
- Bougy in the south,
- Val d'Arry with Le Locheur in the southwest and Missy in the west,
- Grainville-sur-Odon in a north-westerly direction.
