Douvres-la-Délivrande is a French municipality with 5062 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Courseulles-sur-Mer .
geography
Douvres-la-Délivrande is close to the coast of the English Channel . Douvres-la-Délivrande is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer and Langrune-sur-Mer in the north, Luc-sur-Mer in the northeast, Cresserons in the east, Mathieu in the southeast, Anguerny in the south, Colomby-sur- Thaon and Basly in the southwest, Bény-sur-Mer in the west and Bernières-sur-Mer in the northwest.
