Colomby-sur-Thaon is a village and a former French community with 382 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Courseulles-sur-Mer .

With effect from January 1, 2016, Colomby-sur-Thaon was merged with the neighboring municipality of Anguerny to form the Commune nouvelle Colomby-Anguerny and has the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Anguerny.
