Périers-sur-le-Dan is a French municipality with 513 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Canton Ouistreham the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . Périers-sur-le-Dan belongs to the Arrondissement of Caen ; its inhabitants are called Périésains . Until 1888 the municipality was called Périers-en-Bessin .

Périers-sur-le-Dan is close to the coast of the English Channel . Périers-sur-le-Dan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Hermanville-sur-Mer in the north, Colleville-Montgomery in the north-east, Biéville-Beuville in the south and south-east and Mathieu in the west and south-west.
