La Caine ( ) is a French municipality with 158 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Évrecy .
geography
La Caine is about 22 kilometers southwest of Caen . The municipality is surrounded by Préaux-Bocage in the north, Montillières-sur-Orne in the northeast and east, Ouffières in the southeast, Le Hom in the south and Montigny in the west.
