Saint-Samson is a French municipality with 308 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Lisieux and the canton of Troarn (until 2015: canton of Dozulé ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Samsonnais .

geography

Saint-Samson is about 14 kilometers east of Caen am Dives , which borders the municipality to the west. Saint-Samson is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Basseneville in the north and northeast, Hotot-en-Auge in the east and southeast, Saint-Pierre-du-Jonquet in the south and Saline in the west.
