Sallenelles is a French municipality with 294 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement Lisieux and the Canton of Cabourg . The inhabitants are known as Sallenellais .

geography

Sallenelles is located about 13 kilometers northeast of the city center of Caen on the estuary of the Orne , which flows a little north into the English Channel . Sallenelles is surrounded by Ouistreham in the north and west, Merville-Franceville-Plage in the west and Amfreville in the south.
