Blangy-le-Chateau is a French commune of 700 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) of the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . Administratively it is assigned to the canton of Pont-l'Évêque and the Arrondissement of Lisieux . The inhabitants are called Castelblangeois .

Blangy-le-Château is located about 30 kilometers south-southeast of Le Havre in the Pays d'Auge landscape . Blangy-le-Château is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Mesnil-sur-Blangy in the north and north-west, Les Authieux-sur-Calonne in the north, Bonneville-la-Louvet in the north-east, Le Faulq in the east, Le Brévedent in the south, Saint- Philbert-des-Champs to the south and southwest and Fierville-les-Parcs to the west.
