Le Torquesne is a French municipality with 509 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) of the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . Administratively it is assigned to the canton of Pont-l'Évêque and the Arrondissement of Lisieux . The inhabitants are called Torquesnois .
geography
Le Torquesne is located about 30 kilometers south-southeast of Le Havre in the Pays d'Auge landscape . Le Torquesne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Hymer in the north and west, Le Breuil-en-Auge in the east and north-east, Coquainvilliers in the south and south-east, Manerbe in the south and Formentin in the south-west.
