The canton of Caen-Hérouville (Caen-6) was a French canton in the Calvados department and in what was then the Lower Normandy region until 2015 . It comprised two parishes and parts of parishes in the arrondissement of Caen ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Caen . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Rodolphe Thomas was the last representative in the General Council of the Department since 2008. The canton was the sixth canton in the urban area of Caen and is therefore also known as Canton de Caen-6 .
