La Chapelle-Haute-Grue ( ) is a former French municipality with 77 inhabitants (1 January 2013) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy .
On January 1, 2016, La Chapelle-Haute-Grue was incorporated into the new municipality of Val-de-Vie as part of a regional reform together with three neighboring municipalities .

La Chapelle-Haute-Grue is located in the Pays d'Auge . Lisieux is located around 22 kilometers north-northeast of the village . Falaise , west-southwest, is a good 30 kilometers away. The Vie delimits the area of La Chapelle-Haute-Grue in the northeast.
