Christian Aflenzer (born March 31, 1972 in Munich , Germany ) is an Austrian football player and coach .

Career

Aflenzer began his career in the youth of FC Bayern Munich , where he moved to Austria for Bundesliga club SV Austria Salzburg in 1990 via TSV 1860 Munich . He made his debut in the Bundesliga in July 1990 when he came on as a substitute for Srečko Kurbaša on the second day of the 1990/91 season against VSE St. Pölten in the 57th minute .

In January 1992 it was awarded to the second division team SK Austria Klagenfurt . In October 1992 he moved to Spain for the second division UD Mérida . He made his debut in the Segunda División on the ninth day of the 1992/93 season against SD Eibar . In January 1994 he moved back to Austria, where he joined FC Tirol Innsbruck .

In January 1995 he joined SC Admira Dornbirn . For the 1995/96 season he moved to Germany for the regional division Dynamo Dresden . In the summer of 1996 he moved to Croatia to the NK Istra Pula . In January 1998 he went back to Austria, where he joined the second division club DSV Leoben . After more than 100 games for the Styrians, he moved to league rivals SV Mattersburg in 2001 . In 2002 he went to LASK Linz .

In 2003 he moved to the regional division SV Schwechat . After half a year in Schwechat, he moved to the Vienna Sports Club . For the 2004/05 season, Aflenzer was player-coach at SV Würmla . In January 2006 he moved to the fifth class 1st Wiener Neustädter SC . After further positions at SC Theresienfeld , SC Ortmann and SC Bad Sauerbrunn , he became player-coach at ASK Eggendorf in January 2011 . Aflenzer was released in March 2014. In the summer of 2014 he moved to SC Piesting , where he again acted as player-coach. In January 2015 he moved to FV Club 83 Wiener Neustadt .

Aflenzer was born the son of an Austrian and a Spanish woman in Munich , Germany .
