La Chapelle-Monthodon is a village and a former French commune with 202 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aisne department in the Hauts-de-France region . It belonged to the arrondissement of Château-Thierry and the canton of Essômes-sur-Marne .

With effect from January 1, 2016, La Chapelle-Monthodon was merged with the former municipalities of Baulne-en-Brie and Saint-Agnan to form a nouvelle commune called Vallées en Champagne and has the status of a commune déléguée in the new municipality .

Neighboring towns are Saint-Agnan in the west, Courthiézy in the north-west, Dormans in the north, Igny-Comblizy in the east, Le Breuil in the south-east and Baulne-en-Brie in the south-west.
