La Chapelle-du-Lou ( Breton : Chapel-al-Loc'h ; Gallo : La Chapèll-du-Lóc ) is a village and a commune déléguée in the French commune of La Chapelle du Lou du Lac with 906 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . The inhabitants are called chapellois .

On January 1, 2016, the municipality of La Chapelle-du-Lou merged with the municipality of Le Lou-du-Lac to form the Commune nouvelle La Chapelle du Lou du Lac. It belonged to the Arrondissement of Rennes and was part of the canton of Montauban-de-Bretagne .
