La Haute-Yamaska is a regional county municipality ( French municipalité régionale du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Québec .
It is located in the administrative region of Montérégie and consists of eight subordinate administrative units (two cities, three municipalities, two cantonal municipalities and a village). The MRC was founded on March 3, 1982. The main town is Granby . The population is 84,664 and the area 635.4 km², which corresponds to a population density of 133.3 inhabitants per km².
