Ladislau Paz

Ladislau Paz SDB (born June 29, 1903 in Taubaté , São Paulo , Brazil ; † June 24, 1994 ) was a Brazilian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Corumbá .

Life

Ladislau Paz joined the religious order of the Salesians of Don Bosco in and received on 3 July 1932, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On July 21, 1955, Pope Pius XII appointed him . as titular bishop of Amathus in Palestine and auxiliary bishop in Corumbá. The Archbishop of Fortaleza , Antônio de Almeida Lustosa SDB, donated him episcopal ordination on October 12 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Ilhéus , João Resende Costa SDB, and the Bishop of Corumbá, Orlando Chaves SDB.

Pope Pius XII appointed him on November 28, 1957 Bishop of Corumbá. On July 5, 1978, Pope Paul VI. the resignation put forward by Ladislau Paz.

Ladislau Paz took part in all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
