The Lake Reid is an oval lake on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . In the Larsemann Hills it is located about 400 m north of the Law Racoviță station . It flows south into Lake Scandrett . Its water is heavily mineralized .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1988. It was named after D. Reid, a carpenter at Davis Station in 1986.
