The Nördliches Federseeried nature reserve is located on the territory of the municipalities of Alleshausen , Seekirch and Uttenweiler in the district of Biberach in Baden-Württemberg .
The area extends southwest of the core town of Ahlen and northeast of the core town of Alleshausen. The B 312 runs north-east .

For Alleshausen, Seekirch and Uttenweiler, an area of 170.0 hectares has been designated as a nature reserve since April 10, 2001 under the identification number 4.301. It is a “slope section that is representative of the eaves area of the Hohe Schwabenalb with marl slides, rock formations, relict plant communities and valuable forest communities.” It is a “habitat for a multitude of rare, predominantly alpine, z. Sometimes endangered plant species as well as rare animal species with partially unused, often only extensively managed, richly structured forests and relict wild grass meadows. "The area contains" Europe-wide important sites of settlement remains from the Stone and Bronze Ages . "
