The Warmtal nature reserve is located in the municipality of Langenenslingen in the Biberach district in Baden-Württemberg . It was designated in 1994 by the Tübingen regional council.

location

The area extends between Habsberg and Burgberg approx. 2.5 km northwest of the core town of Langenenslingen on the Friedingen and Emerfeld districts . The area is located in the Middle Area Alb and the geological unit of the Upper Jurassic .

Protection purpose

According to the Protected Area Ordinance, the protection purpose is "the preservation, care and improvement of a diverse structured cultural landscape of particular beauty as a habitat for endangered, endangered and protected animal and plant species."

Contiguous protected areas

The Warmtal nature reserve is partly in the FFH area of Glastal, Großer Buchwald and Tautschbuch and is completely surrounded by the Riedlinger Alb nature reserve . East and west closes Schonwald "Warmtal" on.
