The Lançot is a short river in France that runs in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in the Jura and flows into the Dessoubre after a good kilometer .
geography
course
The Lançot rises in the municipality of Consolation-Maisonnettes in the Cirque de Consolation basin from three periodic karst springs . The Source du Lançot ( Eng . Quelle des Lançots) and the Source du Tabourot are located in the upper section of the valley and both cascade down waterfalls directly after the source .
After about 400 m the Lançot takes on a nameless, already 2.5 km long tributary from the left. Then the brook flows into it from the Source Noire (dt. Black Source). In Consolation-Maisonnettes, the Lançot flows from the right into the somewhat shorter Dessoubre , shortly after its origin.
