Lana Alexejewna Prussakowa ( Russian Лана Алексеевна Прусакова * 10. June 2000 in Novocheboksarsk ) is a Russian freestyle ski racer . She starts in the disciplines of slopestyle and big air .

Career

Prussakova had her first international success at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Oslo . There she won gold in slopestyle. She made her debut in the World Cup in March 2016 in Silvaplana , which she finished in 16th place in slopestyle. The following year she finished 15th in slopestyle at the Freestyle Skiing World Championships in Sierra Nevada and eighth in slopestyle at the Junior World Championships in Chiesa in Valmalenco . In the 2017/18 season, she achieved three top ten placements, tenth place in the Slopestyle World Cup. At the highlight of the season, the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , she came 14th in slopestyle. At the Junior World Championships in Cardrona in August 2018 , she won the bronze medal in Big Air. In the 2018/19 season, she won 11th place in Big Air at the Freestyle Skiing World Championships in Park City in 2019 and won the 2019 Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk the gold medal in slopestyle.

Prussakova was Russian champion in slopestyle from 2015 to 2018 and 2020. She also won Big Air in 2020.
