Country house Kurt Albrecht

The country house that factory owner Kurt Albrecht had built for himself is located at Augustusweg 82 in the Oberlößnitz district of the Saxon city of Radebeul . The building was designed in 1909 by the architect Max Steinmetz . With the construction revision date of June 1912, the building dates from the transition period when the Ziller brothers construction company was dissolved . The construction company Ernst Mehlig carried out the construction accordingly.

The single-storey, under monument protection standing villa located in a large garden plot, which as a work of landscape and garden design applies. In this an original water basin has been preserved.

The plastered building with a “quite moving floor plan and elevation” and different window shapes has a developed mansard roof . In the center of the street view there is a large bay window , next to which there is a veranda with an exit on top and a semicircular terrace in front of a crippled hip gable . The entrance is in the left side view.

The enclosure is made by a quarry stone wall with a covered entrance gate.

The property is located in the conservation area Historic vineyard landscape Radebeul and in the conservation area Lößnitz .
