Regional Association Hameln-Pyrmont
The Landschaftsverband Hameln-Pyrmont is a registered association in Lower Saxony . It has the legal mandate to promote regional culture.
It is one of the regional associations in Lower Saxony and was founded in 1996. His area of activity includes the district of Hameln-Pyrmont and thus the cities of Hameln , Bad Pyrmont and central areas of the Weser Uplands .
tasks
Like the other landscapes and landscape associations in Lower Saxony, the landscape association has mainly cultural-political tasks. It has the legal form of a registered association and, on behalf of its regional authorities and the State of Lower Saxony , performs central municipal and decentralized governmental tasks in the fields of culture , science and education and operates appropriate facilities for this purpose.
