Langenreichenbach is a district of the municipality Mockrehna in the district of northern Saxony (Saxony).

geography

The place Langenreichenbach is located southeast of the main town Mockrehna and northwest of Schildau in the area between Eilenburg and Torgau . The federal highway 87 and the Halle – Cottbus railway line run north of the village . Beyond the railway line, the Dübener Heide nature park begins . Langenreichenbach is a street village with a length of three kilometers. The Heidelbach flows through the village .

history

Langenreichenbach was first mentioned in a document in 1201.

At the beginning of the 19th century, the place was still divided into the upper, middle and lower village. On March 1, 1994 Langenreichenbach came to the municipality of Audenhain together with the municipality of Klitzschen . Since January 1st 1999 Langenreichenbach has been part of the Mockrehna community.
