The Langu Khola is an important left tributary of the Mugu Karnali in Nepal .

The river arises in the Dolpo Himal in the municipality of Chharka Tangsong ( Dolpa district ), where it is fed by a glacier . The river initially flows west, later it turns north. The Tinje settlement is located east of the river. The Langu Khola turns to the west and roughly maintains the direction of flow up to its confluence with the Mugu Karnali. It flows through the Upper Dolpo and the northern part of the She-Phoksundo National Park .

It is flanked by the Kanjiroba Himal in the south and the Palchung Hamga Himal in the north. The Langu Khola reaches the Mugu district in the lower reaches . Before its mouth east of Pulu it flows through a gorge.

The Langu Khola has a length of approx. 160 km.

A challenge is the passage of the Langu Khola and its downstream waters by kayak .
