Boring forest
The former community-free area Langweiler Wald is located in the Upper Franconian district of Bayreuth . The name comes from the district of Langweil in the municipality of Ahorntal , which lies directly on the border to the area and whose only residential building is a former forester's house .
The 4.52 km² state forest is located between Mistelgau , Glashütten , Glashüttener Forst , Ahorntal and Waischenfeld . The area is completely forested .
On March 1, 2020, the community-free area was dissolved and divided between the communities of Ahorntal and Mistelgau and the city of Waischenfeld .
