List of former unincorporated areas in Bavaria

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

All dissolved unincorporated areas in Bavaria are to be listed here. These dissolutions take place from time to time through integration into one or more neighboring municipalities, whereby the municipality boundaries are often redefined. In addition, with this article, the list of unincorporated areas in Bavaria should only contain the existing unincorporated areas.

On January 1, 1990, there were 283 community-free areas in 49 of the 71 Bavarian districts. In 33 districts, 107 community-free areas have since been dissolved, in seven of them (Altötting, Forchheim, Haßberge, Kulmbach, Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, Rottal-Inn and Tirschenreuth) there are no longer any community-free areas. (As of March 1, 2020)

The list does not claim to be complete.
